Customer Services Repair Engineer

*5 positions for STRUCTURE REPAIR ENGINEER ON PROPULSION (m/f) have arisen in the pylon repair team in Saint Eloi (Toulouse).

*Our repair engineers provide the technical solution to the Airline aligned with their needs and expectations in case of in-service issues.

*Our repair team are part of the Follow The Sun concept, involving partners and subcontractors around the world supporting the customer 24/7.

ABOUT our team

We are a team of 10 engaged engineers and technicians.

We are working on an End to End repair activities, from Daily support to the spare definitions and through continuous improvements/projects (Digital, Spares improvements, Using new technologies, AOG reductions …)

WHAT you will really do ?

For all of the activities, you will define & validate the structural repair from design and stress point of view

*For Daily & Major Activities

  • Define & Approve the technical solutions and associated justifications

  • Provide engineering support & expertise to the working Party & A/L

  • Coordinate with all interfaces in a daily basis (Physical A/C , Functions ..)

*For Spare activities:

  • Define , Approve , Test the predefined solutions and spares parts

  • Optimize the anticipation solution according to the manufacturing end of production & spare consumption & design solution

  • Contribute , support the development of new technologies in the frame of rapid spares (ALM …)

*Improvements, Automation, Innovation :

  • Analyze and define improvement initiatives for team efficiency

  • Set Up automatic "in-service feedback" for product & operation influence

  • Actor of the new team set up and associated new engineering support & services to be put in place

All in Time , Cost , Quality … with Internal & External support

This role may involve some travel for business and ensuring standby.

  • You have previous experience in Manufacturing / Engineering

Required skills & experience

  • Educated to a 5 years-degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering, Aircraft Design or a related discipline.

  • At least 5 years-experience in Structure design and analyses of aircraft structures

  • At least 3 years-experience in repair engineering.

  • At least 2 years on one of the Component experience : Pylon , Nacelle & Inlet

  • Knowledge on metallic structure is required , composite experience would be a plus

  • An approval stress/Design signatories or T300/400 & T100/T200 from Manufacturing or equivalent to get repair signatories

  • Knowledge of Airbus process/Tools (Hypermesh, Nastran, ISAMI) and fundamental method of stress is required

  • Knowledge of Airbus process/Tools (Catia v5, Gilda, ICC ... ) and fundamental of configuration management is required

  • Knowledge of Airbus repair documentation : AMM, SRM, IPC...

  • Experience on Material & Process or other environments (Fire, Lightning strike , Aerodynamic …) would be an asset

  • Ability to work under AOG conditions and long term activities

  • Ability to translate customer requirements into operational deliverables and prioritize.

  • Good interpersonal skills, flexibility and adaptable and entrepreneurship

  • Language skills: English negotiated level
