A vacancy for a SA Airframe Engineer has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse to support the industrial ramp-up.

You will join the Single Aisle Airframe Engineering MAP department. We are a dynamic team of skilled engineers supporting the Final Assembly Line, Flight Test and Delivery Center by providing troubleshooting and design solutions for the two FAL A320 in Saint Martin and A321 in Blagnac.

• Work close to the Aircraft on two sites (St Martin for A320 and Blagnac for A321) and be part of the success of Airbus in its delivery commitments

• Interact with different stakeholders: Manufacturing, Design Office, Chief Engineering, Technical Authorities, Customers etc.

* Tasks & accountabilities *

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include

• Delivering repair solutions to support the Manufacturing and the delivery of aircraft (eQLBs, ALBs, Concessions and non-conformities)

• Signing off technical documents and Concessions for Structures stress (T300 and T400 with delegations)

• Static and FDT domains are part of the scope

• Liaising with and support stakeholders such as Final Assembly Line, Delivery Center, Flight Test Centre, Design Office, Chief Engineers, Airworthiness Specialists and other MAP offices

• Strong international collaboration with teams in Toulouse, Hamburg, USA and China

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• The candidate should be highly motivated, proactive and a team player, and should be committed to her/his own development to learn and grow and increase the team profile and efficiency and to obtain all relevant technical signature delegations

• With an experience as stress specialist and also some knowledges in design analysis,

• Profound knowledge of Airframe Structure, awareness of design principles and structural repair solutions

• Knowledge of the Product lifecycle management (PLM) tool sets (e.g.PDM, Gilda) & SAP, ISAMI

• Ability to work responsibly and autonomously and be self-organized

• Strong networking and communication capabilities

• Fluent in French is mandatory

• Good level in English
