**Job Description:**
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a *Trade Compliance Manager* * (f/m)* to join our Flight hour service (FHS) based in Toulouse, France.
You will be part of a team that develops logistics solutions. As a member of the Industrial Solutions team, you will be involved in activities aimed at ensuring compliance with the company's import/export policies, global export control regulations, customs requirements, and government agency guidelines, while enabling the supply of spare parts under the Airbus FHS business model.

*Your challenges:*
*Compliance Leadership & Governance*
* Domain Leadership: Act as Architect/Domain Lead for export control, designing and steering the compliance framework across FHS organization.
* S-Level Influence: Co-lead/support compliance projects at the S level and provide strategic reporting to the S Export Control lead & S Leadership team .
* Legal & Audit Mastery: Act as the primary bridge to the Legal Department for contractual integrity and lead all Internal/External Audits , ensuring 'audit-ready' documentation and proactive corrective actions.
* External Partner Oversight: Manage the compliance posture of the global FHS network, including Service Providers (freight forwarders/brokers), Suppliers , and Logistics hubs to ensure end-to-end supply chain compliance.
* Risk Intelligence: Monitor and report on export control risks via KPIs; determine, assess, and implement mitigation strategies for operational risks.
*Operational Excellence (Process & Tools)*
* Directive Integration: Cascade Airbus Export Control Directives into SMR processes, ensuring 'compliance by design' in all workflows.
* Lifecycle Management: Coordinate the full application and renewal cycle for licenses/permits .
* Digital Transformation & IT Alignment: Act as the bridge between business requirements and digital execution, translating complex export control regulations into functional specifications for IT tools and digital transformation initiatives.
* ERP & Data Integrity: Timely update FHS ERP systems to monitor the movement of strategic goods and provide comprehensive reporting on Export Control assets.
*People & Knowledge*
* Competence Engineering: Ensure all SMR employees reach the appropriate competence level to maintain autonomous compliance.
* Expert Guidance: Support teams and answer export control queries (classification management, regulatory interpretation , and technical data management).
* Transversal Synergy: Drive collaboration between EPoCs, TCOs, and Export Control functions to eliminate silos.
* Accountability: Maintain and co-sign compliance documentation (End-User Statements, Agreements) and report potential violations to the Export Control Department.
* Violation Reporting: Serve as the primary sensor for the department, reporting any potential violations immediately to the Export Control Department.
*Your boarding pass:*
* Degree in International Trade or International transport or International Laws
* Min 5-year experience in EU and/or US Export Control and Trade Compliance is required
* Proven experience in international logistics operations
* Good knowledge of incoterms 2010/2020
* Good knowledge of Export Control Regulations (in particular US EAR and EU regulations)
* Basic Knowledge of Customs & Trade laws and regulations (EU or US regulations)
* Experience with SAP would be a plus
* Business fluent English level is required
* Ability to communicate clearly with a large audience
* Good level of French would be a plus
